Menu Plan… Tuesday 11/19/13

Tuesday November 19, 2013

Sorry, running late getting my menu plan together this week.  Here’s how it looks.  Lots of roasting going on with the cooler weather!

MondayBalsamic Sirloin Tip Roast with roasted Brussel Sprouts & Bacon
I seared my roast in a skillet, then finished cooking it on low heat on the grill.  This freed up my oven to roast my brussel sprouts. Everything turned out delicious!

TuesdayRoast Chicken + Roasted Vegetables

WednesdayAutumn Stew

Thursday — Baked Hake + Voltaggio Asparagus saute
I’m going to follow the instructions on this page to make baked hake. (375F, 20 minutes, foil packets with garlic, olive oil, seasonings and lemon or lime juice). I’ll do the veggies in the skillet instead of the grill.

Note:  Trader Joe’s has been selling a 2lb pack of fresh asparagus for $6.  $3/lb for asparagus in the fall is an excellent price!

Friday — TBD/Cheat day
The boys are on their own, I’ll be taking my girl to Williamsburg to celebrate her birthday!

Note: all meals are generally paleo/primal, except as noted otherwise.
