The Workout

Judgement Week d.2, Wednesday 130130

Max Pull-ups - 3 Rounds
combined reps of three unbroken attempts
Kip, Deadhang or Assisted

Max Pushups, Hand Release - 3 Rounds
combined reps of three unbroken attempts
no cessation of movement other than to floor-release

100 Burpees to the Bar for time, 12:00 cutoff
Each burpee includes a jump where both hands must touch a pullup bar between 8″ and 12″ above standing reach.

My Result

Pull-ups: 26 kipping (12/9/5)
Push-ups: 44 (23/11/10)

Burpees: 10:28 (-1:11 from PR)

Didn’t do this WOD in the pre-challenge test, so my numbers are from a different time.  Also, I woke up with a horrible crick in my neck that is limiting my mobility — I almost considered not doing the workout, but grunted it out instead (maybe not the smartest choice).  All things considered, I was happy to get what I got.

Note to self, the last time I did this workout, we alternated between pull-ups and push-ups for each movement.  This time it was straight pull-ups, then straight push-ups.
