Stuff
We’ve have a mantra in our house that we’ve taught our kids and make sure they can repeat back to us:
Stuff doesn’t make you happy. Only Jesus brings happiness.
That being said, there are times in our lives when stuff is desired, required, or otherwise accumulated. I’m trying to maintain a list of items that we love. If you are looking for gift giving inspiration for kids/families similar to ours, you may find some here:

Family Gift Ideas:
Mike
Most of the items on his list are not at Amazon – Mike is really looking for fitness equipment. Clothing-wise, Mike is an Large (L). In jeans he wears 32×34. He also enjoys DLing music – an iTunes or Amazon Giftcard would be great for that.
Kendra
Wesley
Clothing-wise – she is a size 6. She doesn’t need much in the clothing department, other than a Christmas dress (linked in the Wishlist) and a pair of snow pants.
Her main thrust for toys seems to be dolls that can be dressed in different outfits. I’ve linked to several “Only Hearts Club” dolls and dress sets that she would be thrilled to have.
Silas
Silas wears a size 4. He could really use some more underwear and would love it if it was themed (like firetrucks or dinos or something).
Asher
Asher doesn’t need much, especially in the clothes department. If you did buy something, it should be a size 2/2T.

Frugal Tips:
- Craigslist is great! Doesn’t have to be new to be new to us
- Shop around – if you find it cheaper elsewhere, by all means by it there
- Before buying, check coupon sites like RetailMeNot.com to look for money saving coupons
