- Savory Spaghetti Sauce over spaghetti squash

We like the spaghetti sauce recipe I linked to. It’s technically not paleo in it’s original form, but if you cut out the sugar, it’s good. We served it over spaghetti squash.
I cooked the spaghetti squash by cutting it in half (a workout, in and of itself) and then cooking it for 30 minutes at 350 (leaving it whole and cooking it longer would have been easier, but I was pressed for time).
The salad was a mixed green combo with tomatoes, carrots, and peppers. I found the balsamic dressing at Paleo Diet Lifestyle and oh man — it is so good and so easy to make. I simply added my ingredients together in a ball jar and shook it to serve. We added sliced avocado on top of the salad.
This was a really easy meal to make — the kids had to try some of the spaghetti squash, then got to eat “real” pasta for their second serving.
