Menu Plan Sunday June 10th

Sunday June 10, 2012

It feels like summer but we still have two more dang weeks of school.  I think everyone is ready to be done with school, including me.  Life is hectic, so menu planning is imperative so I can make sure I can plan meals that I have time to cook and we have time to eat.  Here’s this week’s plan; most everything is paleo/primal friendly (except as noted):

Sunday — Homemade burgers with onion soup mix + sweet potato fries, + leftover green beans + Voltaggio Asparagus

MondayCrockpot pork BBQ + Summer Squash Tomato Bake + Salad
The BBQ recipe is not truly paleo, there is a little sugar in the rub and I’m using Trader Joe’s BBQ sauce which also has sugar.

Tuesday — soccer team dinner which means pizza, but I’m going to try and make a yummy looking sausage onion pepper bake (recipe coming if it turns out well)

WednesdayHigh Pockets Paleo Pasta + .. some kind of veggie …

Thursday Thai Coconut Curry Shrimp or Garlic Shrimp in Coconut Milk, Tomatoes and Cilantro + Cauli Rice

FridayAsian Beef Kabobs

Saturday — we are attending a end of school potluck party.  I’m planning on bringing turkey hot dogs and deviled eggs — either the old fashioned deviled eggs, or bacon avocado deviled eggs, either version will be made with homemade mayo.
