PlayTodayDC — Where to Find the Fun in Northern VA

If you are like me, always on the hunt for something fun to do with the kids, you’ll be excited to know there is a new website to help you find the fun!

Play Today DC is a new local family friendly website (www.playtodaydc.com) featuring kids’ classes, events, and activities happening in and around Washington, DC.

You may be thinking, “There are already lots of websites out there that feature kid activities and destinations, so what makes this site different?”

Play Today DC allows parents to register (and pay) for activities right on their site.   That means one login, and one place to keep track of all your kid activities, whether it’s a Kneehigh Ninjas class with Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do, or violin lessons with ArtisTree Studio.

In addition to classes registrations, the site also includes many free activities.  And their search function allows you to find activities a variety of ways — by type of activity, location, date, etc.  You can even filter by age group.

The site just launched on January 14th and currently focuses on activities in Vienna, Oakton, Falls Church, Great Falls, McLean, Reston, and Herndon.   Phase Two will soon follow and include additional areas such as Loudon County, Arlington, and Alexandria.

Play Today DC is a free resource for families — the only payment needed is when registering for a paid activity.
