A Quick and Easy Teacher Gift

Thursday December 22, 2011

When it comes to teacher gifts, I like to give something homemade and also hopefully useful.  For the second year in a row, we gave our teachers some holiday goodies packed in a reusable lunch container.

I like the BPA Free, bento-style EasyLunchboxes container — a 4 pack is only $13.95.

This year I filled the sections with:  Salty Chocolate Nutella Thumbprint Cookies, Caramel Popcorn, and Spiced Frosted Nuts.

Then put the lid on, added a simple card and some raffia ribbon, and voila!  A pretty present all ready to go.

This is probably too late to help anyone else, but if you like it, maybe you can Pin It or file it away for next year.

Do you have a go-to teacher gift to share?

We love to bake lots of different cookies and place them in little holiday-themed Chinese take-out boxes from Michael’s. My daughter helps me to line the inside of each box with tissue paper, my son helps place cookies in each container, and we each write names on tie-on gift labels for our teachers (or coworkers), friends and family. They’re easy to transport and always fun to give! 🙂
