We had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving with both sets of grands. We are so blessed to have both sides our family get along and enjoy each other. Here’s a bit of what we enjoyed while we were down in the country.
Cracking nuts
Trying out the new sponge rollers
We recently acquired mini dirt bikes — they are were a huge hit. Even ye olde Meanest Momma went for a spin.
The kids love Grandpa’s “Go Kart” — they treat it like their personal jungle gym.
Grandma slaved away in the kitchen for us, I was so thankful to have someone else do the cooking.
We had a delicious Thanksgiving feast with all the traditional fixins — turkey, corn casserole, broccoli salad, mashed potatoes, and of course crescent rolls.
Dessert was also a treat — cheesecake, pumpkin pie, Paleo pecan pie, and birthday cake.
Too soon it was time to head home. We had a great time with the grands and can’t wait to see them again at Christmas!
great pics, love Wendy’s hair and good job trying something new! now you can add “dirt bikin'” to your meanest momma superlatives!
Looks like you all had a great time. Don told me that you all had a couple of cycles that you all enjoyed very much while down south. It is wonderful that all your family can be together at the holidays!
