I’m a day behind as I spent Sunday relaxing and enjoying Mother’s Day, and then on Monday, I spent the morning with my daughter as she underwent an outpatient surgical procedure (she’s fine now, tho still recovering). So I didn’t make my normal Monday shopping run until evening.
Here’s what the menu looks like:
Monday – Chop Chop salad w/spicy french dressing + leftovers
using up last week’s whatnots…
Tuesday – mini-burgers + sauteed zucchini + corn on the cob + the salad nobody ate last night
Trader Joe’s had cute mini-buns for 1.69, corn was .33/ea at H-Mart, ground beef from my freezer stash.
Wednesday – rotisserie chicken + greek salad + cut-up veggies + apples
Costco: rot. chx 4.99; H-Mart: cucs .50/ea, sweet onion .99/lb, Gala apples 1.29/lb
Thursday – chicken fajitas
Wegmans: chx breasts club pack 1.99/lb, red peppers 6 pack 5.99 or 2.49/lb
Friday – probably breakfast for dinner
BTW, last week, I griped about the performance of Wegman’s Shopping List Tool, and the Wegmans web team actually responded – how cool! I’m happy to report that the shopping list tool was MUCH faster this week and a big help in compiling my grocery list.
And they are running a great sweepstakes right now — if you use the shopping list tool, you’ll be entered to win an iPad!
