February Round-Up

Is this thing on?  Hello?

Sorry, I’ve been slacking on the blogging … been busy trying to jump into the world of couponing … but I’ll save that for another post.

I’ve been meaning to do a February Round-up, but geez … I hardly remember what happened in February.  The basic gist was lots of snow, and lots of fun with friends.   Here’s some pictures to catch you up:

All that snow led to some some serious ice dam issues (damn serious ice issues?).

Mike had fun climbing on ladders and whacking at it from precarious positions.

There was a little outside play done by the kids, but mostly they just lazed around the house.

Mike couldn’t lure the kids outside, so he took it upon himself to build a right fine igloo. Beware the bear when he wakens from his den!

Finally, the kids came out to check it out.  They had fun, mostly.

We also spent a lot of time with friends and family.  We had Aunt Melissa and Owen over for her birthday.

Sparky came and spent a week with us.   I also got to catch up with old friends (thanks for coming South, Jo!).  We also had friends over to dinner (tho I forgot to document them).

Although we spent most of February at home, we did get out and get to catch up with our Old Bible Study Gang.  Our families have grown!

Lastly, we got to catch up with other long time friends.  I won’t call them old, because no matter what the last name changes to, they’ll always be Young to me!

And now it’s March, which has roared in like a kitty cat chasing a butterfly. Lots of sunshine and warmth. If we’re lucky, the last of those snow piles will melt by Easter…
