Last Saturday (8 days ago). We had a snow day. When we left our house in the morning, it had only just started to come down.

When we came home a few hours later, a change had taken place.
This would be the back of Sam’ snowy head:
It was a good day to relax in front of the fire, so we hired a local woodsman to bring us some firewood.
I wasn’t sure how long the snow would last, but since the flakes were big and wet, I knew we’d better make hay while the sun shined. Or rather, make snowmen while the snow lasted.
I was quite proud of my our creation. It just may be the best snow person I have ever given shape to.
We gave him rocks for eyes, orange for a nose and some old bendy celery for a mouth. I had a great time playing with my girl in the snow. Our end product was a bit tippy, but we were still proud.

Fast forward a week to yesterday. The snow has all but melted and our snowman is a distant memory — only a small mound of frozen mess as a reminder.
While Mike & I worked on getting our Christmas lights up (in the dark, cuz that’s how we roll), the kids had fun cannibalizing Frosty.
They can’t eat dirty snow!!!
That is a pretty sweet snowman though – good job!
Love it! It’s really a good snowperson. We (Barry and Evan) made two snowmen that day; but, we didn’t have any groceries in the house to lend for a face, nor could we find any rocks. I LOVE snow!
I think you had more snow at your house than we had at mine. Great snowman! My Wendy also loved eating the snow. Yuck!
