FMM: I can’t Live without …

This is my first time participating in “Friend Making Monday”.     The theme is:

things you can’t live without.

Of course there are the obvious things – family, Jesus, friends, etc. I won’t spend time on those because they are a given.   Things you may or may not know I can’t live without include:

The Inter-web

Or perhaps, more accurately, high speed internet.   Seriously,  I am on the ‘puter waay to often, if I wasn’t checking email, FaceBook, or reading blogs, I don’t know what I’d do (uh.. probably, read a book, spend quality time with my fam, or otherwise have a life, but let’s not go there, shall we?)

Coke Zed

I used to love lurv louve Coke, but with my expanding waistline, I’ve tried cutting back.  I could never tolerate Diet Coke, but when I discovered Coke Zero, I knew there was hope.  It’s not an exact replica of my beloved Coke, but it’s pretty durn good.   Diet Dr. P is also good.

My camera

Mine is nothing fancy, just a Canon point ‘n shoot (SD 880 IS).  But I love being able to capture everyday moments.  I do long for a D-SLR, but I suspect that will have to wait.   I’m not too keen on toting a giant camera AND a diaper bag, so until the lil bugger potty trains… I stick with an automatic for now.

My shows

Okay, technically, I *could* live without them, but this fall, I am really loving the following shows:  Glee, The Office, Mad Men, The Amazing Race.   And thanks be to Hulu for giving me a chance to watch (most of) them on delay.   Without the interweb (see above), I’d be forced to invest in a DVR.
