Wendy has enjoyed the class, for the most part, but as the season wore on, it was clear that it was not her passion. Nor her gift, athletically speaking. So, as she looked forward to her recital, I did too, recognizing that it was probably the last time we’d see her in a tutu performing before a crowd.
We had fun watching her up on stage, in all her glory, for the 58 seconds that it lasted. You can view the video clip here:

It has a weird cut at the end where the girls are supposed to act like surprised fairies or something and dash off stage. Although I certainly don’t expect a lot from this age, I was hoping for a little more polished piece. Regardless, Wendy was adorable and it was a delight to see her on stage. Here are the pictures from the recital:
These were taken at the dress rehearsal the Tuesday prior to the show.
You’ll notice Wendy is sans tights and her hair is a bit askew (I didn’t perfect the “ballet bun”).
She is one of the taller girls in the class.
