I’m sharing the contents of some mixed tapes I made years ago. Today’s mix is:
The Becky Mix
September 1994
Becky is the best friend I grew up knowing, literally since birth. We lived on the same block, our parents worked in the same schools, attended the same church and I even followed her to W&M. I assume I made this for Becky’s birthday, but since that falls in November and I have this one marked in September, I’m not sure what my inspiration was. You’ll note this tape has a decidedly less “pagan” vibe to it than the previous tape

Postscript – I’m bummed that I can’t find Hokus Pick (also known as Hokus Pick Manouver) digitally anymore – they were great! Anyone else remember them? You can buy their cds (Pick it Up and Brothers From Different Mothers) at Amazon.
I added all the songs I could find digitally to my collection of “90s Mixed Memories” in my Amazon store.

Hey Kendra, I still have my Hokus Pick cds if you want to listen…pick it up & snappy. I know what you mean about getting rid of mixes – I have no way to listen to them, and yet, I can’t bear to part.
It appears you had a healthy affection for Ashton, Becker, Dente’s “Along the Road” CD just like me!
