Doggone it!

Remember that birthday cake I made for our dog Logan, except that I didn’t let him eat it?  Well, my little chowhound apparently has a love for chocolate that can’t be denied.

I usually put him in his kennel when we go out for the day (something about the lack of exercise has turned him into a bit of a counter-surfer).  But for some reason, I didn’t today.   And when I came home, I saw that he had gone to town his birthday cake.

For reference, the section from 9 to 2 is what we ate.   He saved 2 to 3 o’clock for us and claimed the rest as his own.  I was going to send half the cake with Mike to work, but I doubt they’ll want it now.  And the best part?  He got his revenge by barfing up all that cake in my office around 4 o’clock.   I cleaned it up and thought we were done with the thing, but he’s been sitting by the couch with us, while watched LOST,  and he is stinking the joint to high heaven with his farts.   I guess you could call it his revenge … or maybe his just desserts?
