Hair Be Gone

Sam has been long overdue for a hair cut for a while.  No matter decent it looks in the morning, by mid-afternoon (or sooner) it is sticking up a million different ways, in part, due to his propensity to rub his fingers through it when he’s tired.  Mike finally took him to “Mr. Dan, the Barbershop Man” on Saturday to get his dirty blonde locks trimmed.  I knew he would get it buzzed, but neither Mike nor I were quite expecting how shorn Mr. Dan went.  Mike explained, “It’s kind of like I ordered a Big Mac and got a filet-o-fish.  Not what I ordered, but you can’t really take it back.  Good thing I like Big Macs AND Filet-o-Fish!”  Right …  anywho, enjoy these pics:

This child is in serious need of a haircut.

Just in time for some of the coldest weather of the season too.  alas… although I miss his longer hair, I do have to say, he one handsome little dude.
