I never quite know what to call this group of “old” friends. We were all in a Bible study together when we were all relatively newly married, sans kids — several years ago. Over time, our locations have changed and our families have grown. We don’t see each other nearly as often as we used to, but we still consider these families dear friends. We finally scheduled a get together on MLK Day and had a great time hanging out. Our “little” group of 4 families included 8 adults and 13 kids! (plus a neighborhood stray
