Adam is in the house! And he would like to say …
Apparently, there is a craze sweeping Facebook where people share 25 random facts about themselves and then “tag” 25 friends do the same. Mommy had fun filling out her “top 25″, and I decided I wanted to play too. Here’s my list of “25 random things about me”:
1. I have been having fun for just over one year now (my birthday was two weeks ago).
2. I loved my mommy so much, when I was in her tummy, I kept my head close to her heart and refused to turn south. Mommy had to deliver me breech.
3. I suck my thumb at nap and bedtime. Neither my brother or sister did but it helps me go right to sleep.
4. I also have a “lovey” mommy calls “Lammie”. He used to belong to Sam, but since he never played with it, Lammie is MINE. Everytime I lie down to sleep, mommy puts him next to me and I snuggle his floppy ear next to my face. Mommy better not ever lose my Lammie.
5. I can climb the stairs faster than mommy can turn her back or blink her eyes. When, she gates off the stairs to the second floor, I can still navigate up and down the steps to the landing (2 and 3 steps) with no difficulty.
6. My name is mans “Happy” and boy am I. About the only time I fuss is when mommy changes my diaper or stops putting food on my plate.
7. I LOVE bathtime. My favorite thing to do is stand up in the tub and grab the faucet. Water pouring down my face doesn’t bother me at all.
8. I can free stand (finally!) and even take steps, although I can’t really walk. I usually take one step and topple but that doesn’t stop me from getting to where I am going.
9. I like to wave by opening and closing my fist.
10. My favorite word is “Dadda!” It means daddy, but a bunch of other stuff too.
11. I’ve been wearing designer duds on my bum since I was four months old – mommy’s really into cloth diapers and dresses me in Bum Genuis and GoodMomma threads. I don’t know what that means, but it is cushie on my tushie!
12. I absolutely adore my big brother and sister and want to be in the middle of whatever they are doing. They usually don’t mind.
13. Sissy makes me laugh – and I’m not one to brag, but mom says I’ve got a great giggle.
14. My name comes from the Bible.
15. When I eat, I stuff myself until my belly is swollen enough to bounce quarters off it. Daddy calls it the “belly-o-meter.”
16. I’m usually read for bed and asleep by 6:30pm. I need my beauty rest.
17. I usually wake between 7am – 8am. It’s one of the many things mommy loves about me.
18. In the evenings, when I hear Daddy walk in the door. I drop whatever I’m doing and crawl to him as fast as my little legs can carry me. It’s usually a race between me and the dog.
19. I have never had a cavity.
20. I like to move it move it.
21. The dog and I have a symbiotic relationship. He hovers nearby during meals and snarfs all the scraps I toss his way.
22. I have absolutely no fear of vacuums or other loud appliances. When mommy turns on the vac, I race over and try to chase it.
23. I’m not a complainer. I take a lickin and keep on tickin and I don’t fuss much when mommy doesn’t get me out of the crib right away.
24. Nothing is more satisfying than finding a neatly organized pile of something and taking it apart piece by piece, leaving each item strewn across the floor (try it sometime!).
25. Baby toys are SO boring. My favorite toys are my brothers cars and anything I can bang to make noise.
In a spirit of solidarity with little brothers and sisters everywhere, I would like “tag” all the youngest siblings (or onlies) of mommy’s friends (even if we haven’t met):
Owen, Hannah, Colin, Pearl, Jimmo, Dani, Sam, Rachel, Sophie, Micah, Samantha, Colton, Katelyn, Trace, Zach, Lydia, Willa, and Alex — consider yourselves tagged! And if my mommy left anyone out who’d like to play along (she can be a little scattered) please do join in an share a link in the comments.

Sheez! Maybe if it was 5 random things I could post things about me. Besides we conscientiously object to the facebook craze. – O
A, I think you’re onto something here. Everybody knows that the grown-ups around here aren’t the interesting ones. WE, the babies, are the main attraction, and it needs to stay that way. My post is up!
A, you’re not very much older than I, but already doing some cool things. I’ll play along and share some things about me. – Rachel Ramsey
A, you ROCK!
My mommy and daddy are too overwhelmed and exhausted to sit and write 25 things about me. But I do have a bunch of fun stuff that I do. I hope to see you sometime soon again.
Love Zach
