I neglected to mention we visited Sports Bounce at the end of summer. I had been looking for activities to do to keep the kiddos occupied and saw they had open bounce hours, so we headed out to Ashburn to check it out. It was housed in an industrial complex and was basically a giant open two story room filled with inflatables. That made it a little noisy, but the kids had fun checking it all out.
This one was, by far, their favorite:
They climbed up and slid down over and over and over.
Pay no attention to that “No double sliding” warning …
Sam also liked this one …
They also had a small play area with toys and a video screen. Both kids loved the see saw.
My attempt to capture the room – it’s way too big — ya need a wide angle to see it all.
They also had some funny mirrors
Wendy wouldn’t get out of this birthday cake themed one.
I couldn’t figure out why, but then I realized she was hanging out in there so she could watch the TV screen right next to it. I had already threatened the kids that we would leave if they kept watching TV.
So, I guess she figured she could hide in the bouncer and watch.
Mean mommy that I am, I asked the attendant to turn the boob toob off.
The kids had a fun morning and it was a great way to “get the crazies out” on a hot August day.

Did they get any burns from going down the slide? Did you try any of the fun? I got a wicked burn on my elbow from one of those slides that left a scar.
Ok, I so want to move back there now! Well, I keep changing my mind, but that looks fun and I miss having someone to get together with. Glad the kids had a good day!
