A Welcome from Wendy …

Greetings!

My name is Wendy Sarah. This is my first email. Uncle Barrett help me write it.

I was born at 3:18 AM on Sunday November 23rd at Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia. I arrived approximately two weeks early. At birth, I weighed a healthy (but dainty) 8 pounds and 1 oz. I measured 21 inches long.

I kept my mom up late into the night after her water broke early Saturday morning. For some reason, I refused to come out despite the firm but kind encouragement from my mom and dad (especially mom). So I was delivered by a Cesarean Section and arrived just fine. My mom is doing quite well and is in good spirits and getting a lot of rest. Dad was able to see the delivery and has been taking good care of mom and me.

Although I haven’t been around long, I have already met lots of my family: Grandmom & Grandad H, Grandma & Grandpa R, Aunt Melissa & Uncle Barrett, and even my Great-Grandmom Poole! I’m a lucky kid and can’t wait to meet you!
